Summer Camps

Woodland Dunes Nature Center offers fun, educational summer camps that connect your child to the outdoors. Camps allow children time to explore the preserve, make new friends and learn about the natural world. All supplies for projects, a snack and lots of outdoor time are included in each camp.

Campers should dress for the outdoors and be prepared to get a little dirty! Appropriate footwear, such as tennis shoes, is important. Please apply sunscreen and bug spray (if you choose) to your child before arriving at camp. Other suggested items to pack include a hat and water bottle in a small bag or backpack.

Camps are coordinated and led by Jessica Johnsrud, Education Coordinator and winner of the 2016 Education Impact Award, along with summer college interns and trained volunteers. If you have questions, please email Jessica or call 793-4007.

Click on the titles for more information. Space is limited for each camp – register early to avoid disappointment! If you are registering more than one child, please fill out a separate registration form for each camper. REGISTER YOUR CHILD HERE.
