Education

Woodland Dunes has modified summer programming to keep its visitors and staff as safe as possible. We are limiting program sizes to 10 max and registration is required for all programs. Staff and program participants will be asked to practice social distancing, wear masks (masks onsite if needed) and wash hands. We will be sanitizing equipment and facilities often. Please, do not attend a program if you are feeling sick or have any symptoms of illness. Many programs have more than one session. To register for a program call 793-4007 or email Jess at jessicaj@woodlanddunes.org <mailto:jessicaj@woodlanddunes.org

In regard to nature, a person will love what they know and will preserve what they love; our education mission is to help people know enough to do both.

At Woodland Dunes Nature Center, the 1,500-acre preserve is our classroom, connecting our neighbors and students to the land. Our programs are designed to promote environmental stewardship and ignite excitement and wonder for the natural world. We hope you join us  and Jessica Johnsrud, our Education Coordinator and winner of the 2016 Education Impact Award, for an event or program soon.
