Bird Breakfast & Migration Celebration, May 18, 2024

What a fun spring tradition… the 82nd Bird Breakfast!
Yummy comfort food
and birding at the same time!

8:00-11:00am
Only $6!  Includes: ham, pancakes, fruit compote, real maple syrup and beverage. Kids under 4 are free!
Reservation and payment must be made in advance by Thursday, May 18th, so we don’t run out of yummy food. No day- of orders or walk-ins.


Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day and the return of many of our migratory songbirds! Guided bird hikes will be available throughout the morning (registration required) and self-guided activities for families will be available. 

Registration is required for the following hikes due to space limitations. Bring your binoculars.  Please note the different hike locations. 

2023 Hikes that were led:

7:00am: Led by Joel Trick, meet at end of E. Goodwin Rd. Trail may be muddy. Hike will last 1-1.5 hours, conditions permitting. 
 
8:00am: Led by Jim Knickelbine, meet at Willow Trail near sky shed. Hike will last 1-1.5 hours, conditions permitting. 
 
9:00am – Led by Becca Jabs, meet at Cattail Trail (boardwalk into marsh)
 
10:00am – Led by Ben Booth, meet at Willow Trail near sky shed
